From Dreams to Dresses
Our story
Debbie Rees Bridal is not just a name; it's a legacy woven by its founder, Debbie Rees herself. With a remarkable journey that began with a five-year apprenticeship at a renowned Savile Row-based tailoring company, where military uniforms for the Queen's guards were crafted, Debbie shattered barriers. She went on to make history as the first female cutter and tailor at the prestigious Gieves & Hawkes, also on Savile Row, showcasing her unparalleled skills in a traditionally male-dominated field until 1999.
Armed with additional qualifications from the Royal College of Fashion, where distinctions adorned her achievements, Debbie embarked on her own path. She established a bespoke dressmaking and alterations business and served as the leading dressmaker for another beloved Wokingham bridal shop for four years.
